Q - Where are you located?A - We are located in the Southern end of Broward County on the Florida Peninsula where the cities of Hollywood, Hallandale and Pembroke Park meet. The community is minutes from I-95 and the Florida Turnpike and nestled amongst beautiful palms off of Hallandale Beach Blvd. Visit our Contact Us page for specific directions. Q - Do you allow pets? A - Yes, we welcome small people friendly pets. You will be responsible for caring for your pet and walking your pet. Please ask us about our pet policy. | |
Q - I still drive. Can I bring my car?
A - Absolutely, you are welcome to bring your personal transportation.
Q - I no longer drive, how will I get to my Dr's appointments and to the grocery store?
A - We offer scheduled transportation weekly to medical appointments. We will also gladly assist you in scheduling your appointment if needed. Additionally, the community bus is frequently on other scheduled outings to places such as: grocery stores, retail stores, pharmacies, cultural events in the area, local restaurants for group lunches, site seeing tours and much more.
Q - I enjoy exercising, do you offer any classes?
A - Yes, we offer daily exercise and stretch classes in a fun group setting for all residents who wish to participate.
Q - What types of activities to you offer?
A - We offer many activities so there is something for everyone to enjoy. Our activities program encompasses spiritual, physical, social, intellectual and cultural options. As a resident, you are welcome to make recommendations to our Activities Department and we will gladly try to honor all request. See our Newsletter/Activities Calendar.
Q - How many meals per day do you serve?
A - Three. You are welcome to come to breakfast, lunch and dinner in the dining room, or if you are in the mood to dine out or eat something light in your apartment, you are welcome to do that instead.
Q - What is the Resident Functional Evaluation (RFE)?
A - This tool allows us to provide individualized care and services to each resident. Prior to moving in, 30 days after move-in date and 90 days thereafter, we will complete your RFE. Completing the RFE is a non clinical process where we discuss your personal care and service needs. Once your RFE is completed, your personal service needs/desires will be determined and appropriate level of care fees will be discussed with you (and/or your family.)
Q - How can I get a brochure of your community?

Q - What size is the apartment and can my loved one and I share the same apartment?
A - We offer various apartment floor plan selections with varied square footage. We have single ladies, single gentlemen and couples in our community. Our larger suites are typically the favorite choice for couples. Call or visit us today and we will gladly take you on a tour!
Q - I prefer to have a roommate, because I do not like living alone. Is this a possibility?
A - Yes. We will gladly help you find a roommate within the community. We offer both private and semi-private apartments. Often semi-private apartments are selected for the reason you mentioned, companionship, but they are also a great price alternative to a private apartment.
Q - I am going to have hip surgery next month. I currently live alone but will need some temporary assistance. Do you offer short-term residential stays?
A - We certainly do. This falls under our Respite program. You may stay for one night or as long as you desire. During your temporary stay with us, we will gladly provide all of the same services to you that are available to our permanent residents. Because it will only be a respite stay, we will even provide you with a nicely furnished apartment.
Q - If I need assistance in the middle of the night, is it available?
A - Our well trained and caring staff is accessible 24 hours per day. Each apartment is equipped with a call system for the convenience of contacting staff.
Q - Can I have the same cable package that I have at home and can I have my own private telephone in my apartment?
A - Yes. It’s your apartment and you may select the same services you are accustomed to having.
Q - Can my family visit me?
A - Anytime! This is your home and your family and guest are always welcome.
Q - Every birthday, my family comes to join me for lunch. Can they continue to do that once I am a resident?
A - We love resident birthday parties. Once you reserve the private dining room, we will prepare your luncheon and serve your birthday cake with pleasure!
Q - How quickly can I move-in and what do I do next?
A - Stop by for a tour and let us treat you to a complimentary lunch. We will review the required move-in paperwork and help you select your favorite apartment. All you need to do to reserve your apartment is to provide a check for the move-in administration fee. Then all you have left to do is pack!
Q - Once I provide you with a check for the move-in administration fee, what if something happens and I can’t move in or I change my mind?
A - We hope this will not happen, but if it does, you have our promise that we will refund you your move-in administration fee. This fee is always refundable if the resident never moves in to our community.
Q - What is the cost of my apartment?
A - Our base monthly rental fee includes your apartment, 3 served meals per day, snacks, laundry, housekeeping, landscaping, maintenance, activities, scheduled transportation, utilities and all of the services outlined on our Services Page. Our suites are available in multiple floor plan and location selections and have several pricing tiers. We are happy to discuss specific apartment prices and our Level of Care fees with you during your private tour.
